Home > From The Chief > Emergency Preparedness Education

With the support of Norfolk County Council, I am pleased to announce that we will be developing a program to deliver emergency preparedness education to residents and students.  We will be using a similar format to the one used now for our very successful Fire Safety Educators program.  Fire & Rescue Services will be researching and developing an emergency preparedness educati0n program dealing with natural disasters that may be faced by our community.  Again, we will call upon the assistance of our volunteer firefighters to help deliver the program.  We hope to have the training complete by the end of the year, and roll out the program in 2015.

Have a fire safe day,
