Jason D. Whiteley has accepted the position of Deputy Fire Chief/Chief Training Officer with Norfolk County Fire & Rescue Services Division.

Jason has over 23 years of fire service experience having previously worked over the years with the City of Woodstock, City of Mississauga, the Municipality of Markstay-Warren and the City of Burlington.

Jason will begin his new duties on Monday, November 5, 2012 at Fire Headquarters in Simcoe, ON.

Norfolk County is the 4th largest volunteer fire department in Ontario with an area of 1642 sq. km., 63,000 residents and 242 volunteer firefighters.

    I’m curious. Who are the first second & third largest volunteer departments in Ontario?
