NORFOLK COUNTY FIRE DEPT
On behalf of the 254 volunteer firefighters and fire department admin staff, we are preparing our initiatives and objectives to provide a valued service to the residents of Norfolk County. We will continue to use the three lines of defense (public safety education, fire code enforcement, emergency response) as our building blocks.
We will continue to engage our residents with our smoke/co alarm program, provide fire safety education, and emergency preparedness education at our schools, and ensure our firefighters and officers have the required training should they have to respond to your home or business.
Please remember to pull to the right if you see an oncoming vehicle with a green light activated. Our firefighters require your assistance to allow them to pass safely to arrive at the fire station. Please check your smoke/co alarms regularly, plan your escape, and be diligent when cooking.
